I have a 1997 4runner sr5,automatic transmission,when out on the highway with cruise control set the transmission goes into overdrive fine,when starting up a hill it kicks down into drive(normal i know)but when i get back to flat ground the vehicle stays in drive and wont go back into overdrive unless i cancel cruise control or give it more gas.when i went and had the fluid changed i asked the mechanic about this and he said it might be a sticking solenoid for the overdrive. i was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so how hard to fix?another question off subject. my truck came with the factory towing package,anybody know what class the hitch that comes with it is and the weight limits for towing with that package.went to rent a tow dolly from u-haul and they said i couldnt pull a 1995 monte carlo with my truck due to weight limits thanks,bought the truck used no owners manual
