OVERRIDE function for the new v5 software?????

I just had the new Gen 5 software installed at the dealer on my E7008 to solve the loss of GPS location problem. The new version eliminates access to the service screen, and the all-important override function, via Menu > Volume > TopLeft > BottomLeft > TopLeft > BottomLeft.

Anyone know if there's a new key combo?????

Someone had posted a reply here, which is now deleted, apparently. Not sure why. It was a couple of other key combinations to try. #2 worked, but it goes to a different diagnostics screen that is not the same as what we're looking for, does not offer the OVERRIDE or anything else very useful.

Would still love any pointers on this one, I'm close to cutting the wires to disconnect the speed sensor...

I received a DVD copy that is version 05.03.13, just a hair older than my new one from the dealer (05.03.17). I put it in, and the map data works fine, but for the life of me I can't find the diagnostic screen to install the OS from the DVD.

The only procedure I can find that works is the one where you hold the info button and turn the headlights on & off 3 times. This diagnostic screen is minimal and offers no such function.

Any suggestion????
