P-Metric Duratracs - Who's seen them?

Figured since it's a P-metric Duratrac thread I would post my pictures after getting them mounted. Sorry for the crappy pics. I only put about 250 miles on the stockers, but the only difference I can slightly feel is at around 70 mph (little less responsive). These things drive great and look awesome.

Ha go for it. You get a $60 mail in rebate with them right now as well through Goodyear.

I only had the stock tires on there for around 250 miles and much of it was city driving, so no idea about the MPG. However, from my research on this forum the MPG loss should be negligible.

Just drove down to Richmond for the day and they're great on the interstate. Not loud at all, but still a noticeable hum when the music's off (sounds like a truck ought to if you ask me).

Are those the stock size? You have 3" lift correct? I'll probably do the 3" toytec later on, and just wonder if the stock size duratracs will look too small with a 3" lift, or if I should go 285's.

Three inch Toytech Spacer Lift and Spider Trax Wheel Spacers. These are 275/ 65/20s. For a quick laugh, here is what that tire size looks like without the lift.

So I got my tires from tire rack 2days later, crazy fast and installed. Glad I did, my stock set that were on the runner when I bought it a month ago had 35k on them but were split in the tread which u could not see unless it was dismounted,

I love them so far, great manners, pretty quiet, and still get 22.5 on the hwy, I was getting 23.5 with stock, so for safety I will take it,

Looking good. At what speed do you manage 23.5mpg? It seems like I couldn't get that good of mileage if I was going down hill, down wind, drafting a semi truck.

My last trip to mass, it was last weekend, I drove from Long Island to north mass area, and back to ny, I went 470 miles ish, I drive at 65 mph. No reason to do crazy speed,

P vs C-rated LT

So are these just 4-ply instead of the C-rated 6 ply? And are there really any other differences between the two other than the tread depth?

dont quote me, but i am going to say they are same tire, but depth of thread is not as much. the psi is the same, and the pounds are higher for the p rated one, but they cant say it is a c rated tire because the tread depth

Any updates on these tires? I've searched high and low about the details of this tire and I can't find much if anything. Have any of you wheeled with these yet?

My main concern is the strength of the sidewall. We've all heard about the suspect nature of the Duratrac sidewall if you do any rock crawling with the c and e loads. I'm just wondering how much softer these are and if they are for on road or mud use only.

I'm definitely going with Duratracs. With the significant price difference between these new ones and the other ones, it's a hard decision to make without knowing more about the new, non LT rated tire. I don't wheel too often, but I don't want to be worrying about a sidewall puncture or slash when I do.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I'm in the Carolina's if that helps as far as type of terrain that I'll be wheeling in. Think Uwharrie, and some light mudding.
