P R D wont open

My kid kicked the lock when I hit the unlock button and now the door wont open... can I get the panel off if I cant open the door... ita also has the child locks on so opening it from inside is not an option.

That is a problem. You can't get the inside panel off with the door closed without doing some damage to it. And you need to get it off to get to the linkage to unlock it.

Does the e-lock respond at all when you hit the button (like maybe a click or something)?

I googled how to take the panel off...I unlocked it from the inside and then opened it. The lock and unlock are two different parts... I just put the ball back on its track and bam works again. I love toyotas!
