After replacing my drivers side exhaust manifold and cat assembly on my 2004 V6, I immediately got a P0051 code when I started the engine. I did not replace the sensor but this code was not present before I did this job. I didn’t see a readout in my scan tool for the A/F sensor voltage, but the downstream O2 sensor, which I replaced a few months ago, is also low voltage. Are the upstream and downstream sensors connected, as this would suggest a wiring fault, not a sensor fault? Is there a similar low voltage code for the downstream sensor?
Any experience with this issue would be appreciated! I tried swapping the A/F heater fuse with another one, but that did not solve the issue. I also cleaner the connector.
Thank you!
