P0306 Question - please help

Highly unlikely it's a head gasket issue since it's throwing codes for cylinders 7 and 8, which are opposite one another. The V8 is not typically associated with the head gasket failures, either. Not sure what's causing it, but I wouldn't be worried about your head gasket. Check your spark.

I do not think it is HG either… if it is… this would be the first HG issue I have heard with 4.7 V8…. and not just in 4Runner, but in all applications (Land cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia and Lexus GX470 and LX470) this V8 was used…

I would start by replacing Bosh with OEM Denso or NGK spark plugs;

Did Dodgers ever get his issue fixed? I have the same thing going on. Spark plug and coil didn't solve it. Thanks.
