P0356 w/othe weird codes

05 v8 w/ 160k on it
started running rough/ idling rough on the way to school

scangauge is saying p0356....searched around and see some causes but not sure on what's going on next.

the p0356 code goes away on the gauge and a bunch of other start coming up/switching

C1460
C1500
C1640
C15AO
C1820
just to name a few. Any ideas on what those mean or what it's telling me?

Are you sure you are reading the Scan Gauge correctly? The only DTC that makes sense is the [P0356- Ignition Coil F Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction.] The following "C" DTCs do not exist in Toyota's library:

C13C0- ?
C1460- ?
C1500- ?
C1640- ?
C15AO- ?
C1820- ?

I think some members have run into this before with the ScanGauge outputting oddball DTCs, though I don't remember why or how to fix it (I don't use the ScanGauge myself.)

As for the [P0356- Ignition Coil F Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction] it indicates that coil "F" (Cylinder #5) has failed electrically.

Your ScanGauge is either outputting incorrect DTCs (much like some German vehicles do without factory scantools) or there's a glitch in the ScanGauge software as those DTCs do not show up in TIS.
