Hey guys,
I've got a little bit of a problem. The check engine light on my '97 4Runner has been on for a little while now. The truck has been running fine and I've had no signs of any serious problems.
I took it to autozone and got a diagnostic check and it came back with the P0446 code on it, saying EVAP purge/vent solenoid circuit condition.
I've tried to trace all vacuum and fuel lines and have not found any that were damaged. The gas cap doesn't show any cracks or damage to it either.
I really don't want to take it to the dealership to have them fix it. I've got limited funds, but am willing to pay for parts. I've got access to people who would be able to possible install new parts if necessary, depending upon the difficulty of the fix.
Any help at all would be appreciated a ton. Thanks guys.
