P0505 code after valve gasket job

Just replaced these items today:

Valve cover gaskets
Cam plugs
Half-moons
Plenum gaskets
PCV Valve and grommet
Throttle body gasket
NGK spark plugs
NGK cables

Started it up and it seems to be running fine minus the CEL. Ran a diagnostic test and it said P0505, IAC. I cleaned the throttle body and MAF sensor too as well. Not sure why I have an issue now. It’s idling steady at 1K RPMs. Maybe I’m being paranoid but it does feel like a very slight rough idle that comes and goes every other second. Need suggestions fellows.

Just covering the basics, but you did plug it back in all the way right? Both the plug and the hose? That's a very uncommon code to have.

Embarrassingly, I accidentally forgot to plug in the harness. Still showed a CEL after that so I disconnected the negative battery terminal and reset the ECU. That solved my problem.

Haha, no worries, I figured that was the case. I've never heard of that code popping up, ever.

My IAC got finicky with a high idle after my valve cover job too. Probably because I cleaned everything too well. Try resetting the ECU to force it to relearn. Also, when the throttle body ages the clearances get looser so the butterfly doesn't shut as tight. I ended up putting a light spring on the throttle to help it close better and my idle has been normal since.
