My 4runner started just fine a day ago. After running for a couple of minutes, I started to back out of my driveway when it coughed and stalled. Later in the day (8 hours later) I tried to start it again. Still a no go. A few more hours later, it did start. Since it was running I started poking around the ignoter and then the coil packs. When I touched the wires (with a stick), it stalled again. After getting it running again, I poked again and it stalled again. At this point I removed the packs and cleaned the connectors. After re-assembly, I started and poked, it stalled again. It looks like it's just a broken wire at the connector. Time to hit the junkyard and splice on a new end.
