Paint Came Off Under Logos

Hi All,

I was planning on removing my logos from the back of my '99 and running it without them. However, the paint ripped off from underneath them as well. Has anyone had this happen, and what's the best/easiest product to fix this horrible look? End state is still the same, I'd like to remain logo-less, just without paint chips. Any help is appreciated!

Well, if you want to remain badge-free and don't want the missing paint, I think the only solution is repainting the hatch. I don't know of any good quality touch-up paint solution that will hide that entirely because those are large areas and it will absolutely show in both finish quality, texture, and color. I think to make it look good again, you're looking at painting the hatch or putting the badges back on.

ya, I think the cheapest way to go would be to slap a new set of emblems on there. It's possible the hatch had previously been repainted and didn't get a chance to fully bond when someone put emblems back on.

Thanks everyone. I kinda figured that might be the only route. Plasti-dipped the emblems white and putting them back on, so it will be at least a little closer to what I wanted. :bigok:
