Paint Defender?

Just curious if anyone has tried the 3M Paint Defender product? (3M Auto: Products for People Who Love Cars) We are in an area with heavy brush and I'm wondering how this stuff would work at helping to keep the scratches off the truck. :shrug:

I saw this the other day when trying to find paint for my mailbox.
It looks to be a quality clear coat. I would imagine it would work, at least for a little bit.
