Anybody know where to get interior spray paint? I know SEM , but not sure what color will match. My trim code is FA17... I can’t seem to find anything..It is grey.. I have a few pieces I would like to paint.

Do you have a local distributor near you? Easiest way is to take a small piece and match it to the cap on the SEM can. I know for tan the SEM light oak is the best match. But I haven’t had to match the grey before.

That’s probably what I will end up doing.. was hoping somebody might have already done that and have the paint code that matched for the grey in need. Looks like SEM has about 4 that look close.

SEM Color Coat Castella 15223 is the best oak interior match (original top, painted bottom). Its not obvious from the first pic, but it is the right tone, just a touch lighter.

For the moon mist interior, unless somebody has some experience to post, I would suggest getting the color card from SEM and comparing it to what you want to match.

Oh that’s really good. I just checked the shelf at my work(very slow day) and we don’t stock that one. That’s why I went with the light oak cuz it was the closet that my work had. The light oak I’d say is just a bit darker. I’m gonna order in a couple cans. Also I don’t think OP is talking about the blue grey(moon mist) interior, just the grey interior.

Edit: the color card is on the SEM website. If you search color coat and then scroll down to literature it is a download.

This is the color. It says FA17 on the door jamb tag. Not sure what color it is called. The exterior is Glacier Metallic.

If you have an ABS (auto body specialties) store in your town, you can take in a sample piece and they will match it exactly and put it in a rattle can.

We do that at my work. What turns people away from it is the price. Any spray can we mix is $23. But if you can find a SEM color coat that’s really close or is a perfect match then they buy that because it’s less than $20

Unfortunately it doesn’t look like I have that store here in South Florida. Looks like I’ll have to find a SEM dealer or match it up with the color chart and order it on line.

There are some Napa and Oreilys that do sell auto body products. I’d see if I can find one of them. Besides the place I work at there’s 2 Napa’s and one Oreilys that do that locally to me.

Did you check Amazon? There are guys who sell mixed paint in rattle cans. I bought Desert Dune Metallic in a rattle can & it's Sherwin Williams paint.

A local auto body supply store. I might go back tomorrow and get another color.. was 14$ for that spray can.

I'm half tempted to paint I'm replacement piece to see how close it is for the Oak interior. Yea, it was 15 dollars. But spending another 15 for a color match...........
