I have a 99 runner with the chrome bumpers. But I love the way that the newer models that are all black look. I am in the process of trying to black it out. Anyway has anyone ever heard of painting the chrome parts the color of the car.

That wheel trim looks to be plastic, before I do the chrome bumpers I would like to see someone with the bumpers done.

I have put some of the Rust-Oleum on the inside of my bumpers and it sticked. If you look on the inside of your chrome bumper I bet you will see rust where the bumper meets the frame. Of course it is on the inside so no one can see it, but I bet everyone that has chrome bumpers has some rust there. It was probably there before you bought it.
