ok so im finally going to be reassembling my truck next week and was going to paint some of the engine parts just to clean it up and make it look good. while i was in the paint isle looking a guy was looking at some high heat exhaust header paint. we got to talking and he said he used it on the headers for his rat rod race car because it reduces the heat in the engine compartment and keeps him from welding his starter together because his starter sits right next to his headers. what im wondering is if any one here has heard of this because i was thinking of painting the stock manifolds and the cross over on my 3vze to help protect the head gasket. thanks in advance for any help.
