Painted Wind Deflectors

Just finished painting the Wade window wind deflectors for my 2007 SR5, here's pics as promised. Working on the hood deflector now.

As far as prep goes, I scrubbed them with a brillow pad to get rid of the shine, then sprayed some Dupli-color Adhesive Promoter, followed by a coat of grey Dupli-color primer, then at least two coats of Dupli-color titanium paint, and lastly a coat of Dupli-color clear coat. Came out pretty good I think.

Looks good, but doesn't it make your A-pillar thinker which makes it harder to see and makes for a bigger blind spot?

Good Job, but unnecessary IMO, the black would blend just as well. $0.02

Was just trying something new, everyone seems to have the standard black ones. I see what you mean about the pillar but so far it does seem to make that much of a difference, guess time will tell and if I end up not liking I can just take them off but was curious to see what it would look like if they were matched to the vehicle
