Painting license plate frame

Just wanted to see who all has painted the rear license plate holder and what paint you used?

I used Dupont's Chromabase base coat clear coat system. I had the color mixed the paint code on the door jam.

that looks great! i guess the pic isn't the highest quality but from what can tell that matches up really nice. I will definitely look into Dupont's chromabase for mine.

I had some scratches on the 2 of the flares and the front bumper had many rock chips in it. So took them all off and painted several pieces at the same time.

I've painted my emblems with the Duplicolor OE match stuff and it's pretty damn close!

What paint did you use? I plan on doing the same thing, and from what I've heard Krylon Dover White is a close match...

I sanded, primed, basecoated, and cleared on Dupli-Color Graphite on mine....

It later got a re-spray when I was rear ended last summer :/

I am a painter in a body shop. I used glasurit waterborne BC/cc. Paint code for the white is 056
