Painting plastics

I know there are a ton of threads on this, but what have you guys found that works, and holds (unlike dip) for the weathered and now grey plastics on my SR5?

Thanks in advance

Forever Black Bumper and trim is amazing stuff, it works really well on the 'textured' plastic.
I've used it for many years and highly recommend it.

Rust-Oleum Trim and Bumper paint.

I used this on the plastic piece on the rear bumper. Was on for over a year. Still looks great.

I used one of those trim restore type things for black plastic when I first bought my 4runner. It worked out for a little while, but ended up fading again within 6 months.

Next thing i tried was to sand/spary paint. They eventually faded as well.

We ended up putting bedliner on them (whatever it is that walmart sells) and they seem to be holding up so far. I've had them on there for ~6 months and i haven't noticed any fade yet.
