Panhard bracket

I see... I wouldn't think this would cause cupping though. I do agree I'd would contribute to irregular wear, but wouldn't think cupping. I am no tire expert thoug.

That was also my initial thought, however after I rotated the tires, the fronts now on the rears also started cupping.

I wonder if, by using adjustable rear control arms, if you were to shorten the passenger side control arms and lengthen the driver side arms, with NO adjustable panhard bar, what would happen? Certainly one would be able to correct the thrust angle given by lifting a 4runner, no doubt about that but I'm wondering about disadvantages such as reduced flex, or interference? I may have to whip up some adjustable arms and try this out, unless a more experienced member already has experience or input in general.

Strong enough? I will weld next week.

This is my 4runners alignment before my lift, obviously note the rear alignment:

This was immediately after the lift:

And this is a few months after, with some weight added, but no adjustable bar or drop bracket:

I can tell you from experience that my rear tires DO have some cupping. Nothing a regular tire rotation doesn't help, though. My rear axle is definitely NOT pointed straight. In fact, both rear tires are pointing to the passenger side of the truck by half a degree. I have no supporting modifications for my lift; stock arms everywhere else.

This post helps me a lot. I just swapped axles & it's not pointing exactly straight but I bet my old one wasn't either. Thanks!
