Paragon T4R.org Group Ride July 23rd

Gang,

What about a T4R.org group ride at Paragon on Saturday, July 23rd? The montly group ride done by Bobby and Koz looked like fun, but I know it was very crowded- what about a t4r.org only group ride? It would be a bit more expensive:

$35 per vehicle and driver
$150 per group ride leader

I think we could get 10 of us, between the usuals from NJ, plus some from New England and New York, maybe Penn.
If we get 10, that is $50 per person, which isn't that much more than the usual amount.
I think it is worth it, esp. if there are only 10 of us.

So let me know what you guys think . . . . . is the date good for others? I am open to suggestions . . . I can't do June 25th, I doubt most of us could do July 4th weekend, and I can't do the weekend of July 8th, 16th or July 30th. The 23th works for me, what about you guys?

I wouldn't mind going but I really don't think we need the guide for $150. The place isn't that bad and if we stick to the greens, we should be fine. There's also a $5 fee per passenger.

This is a place where you really need communications. Bring TalkAbouts, CBs, cans and string, etc.

I have to check.......if we aren't doing a field training exercise, then I can go. If we are, then I am out. We are always getting shafted with all the field training. None of our sister units ever do it!!!!!! I hope I can go. Don't forget, if I can......I will be the baby of the group. ga ga-goo goo

I got the impression you had to have a trail guide . . . .
You are right, I don't really think we need one, but do we have a choice? If not, that would make things a bit cheaper . . .

I think just one of the guys in the group has to watch a 15 min video. Having a guide is good but a little too expensive for what we're doing. If we were going for harder trails, it'd be worth it but not for greens.

Just my opinion.
