Paranoid about overtorquing suspension myself

I just put on my lift this weekend, and I used a cheap $25 torque wrench that now I’m paranoid about being way off. I just ordered a “nice” one online for the recheck after everything settles.

Now I’m paranoid that maybe I overtorqed a few things, if my torque wrench was way off. For example, with the LCA bolt (which I loosened to make shock installation easier), I was tightening pretty hard until it clicked (118 ft lb if I remember correctly). What would happen if I actually torqued to 140? At what torque would things start shearing?

I think you'd be hard pressed to shear one of those at only 20ft/lb over spec.

That being said, I'm not making any guarantees. It'd be different if it called for 40 ft/lb and you did 100 ft/lb, but you only went over by about 18% which I probably wouldn't even go back and worry about. Plenty of people use impacts to assemble suspension, and although I'm in no way suggesting that is okay or even a remotely good idea, there shouldn't be any major issue. You would have known if you had sheared it off.
