Finding parts and accessories in Canada for my 4runner simply sucks - it's starting to pis$$ me off
I've been waiting a month now for my spidertrax wheel spacers - there are only two authorized dealers, one in Alberta and on in BC. For Toytec stuff, again, only one dealer (and that's a Toyota dealership) that's in Alberta. Trying to do a simple freaking fog mod is near impossible because I don't even know where to find three simple parts Westin bull bar is over 600 bucks in hitch city and it's a special order. And just to top it all off $120 FJ fog switch and $75 wire harness take weeks to come in because they're a special order shipped from Japan.
W T F!
At least I found a place where I can get xenondepot Hid kits that's in Toronto.

To Canadians: where the $#%@ are you getting your parts/accessories, especially around southern Ontario.

AHEM, just like EVERYTHING else in this country, we pay more than our neighbours to the south. Even though some of it is actually manufactured right here in Canada!!
but, i digress. I order my parts from dallas toyota. They ship at a reasonable rate and I am still saving lots of loot. example, exhaust manifold is about $1200 plus tax up here at the dealer. I think they want $530 at the Dallas one. Our dollar has been at par, it not more or a little less for almost 2 yrs now and we still get raped. I order EVERYTHING i can from the south just so i don't have to give these crooks my business.

the fog light switch with harness is $119 shipped to Canada. you just have to find a good state side dealer that will work with you, and remember the 13% you pay after it crosses the border.

I really would prefer to support Canadian businesses, but when the prices are not even close, when you can find what you are looking for here, it just isn't worth it. I needed some simple brake parts, and could only find them in this country at the dealers. The ones I ordered from the US cost half as much, and will take only a little longer to be shipped. It is a sad state of affairs.

I know that we get shafted here up north, but I guess what gets me most is that most of the stuff you can't even buy in Canada, much less locally.

I'm good with ordering stuff in US and getting stuff shipped here, but I'm a bit hesitant...I don't want to get slammed with brokerage and duty fees.
