parts list

First off I live in Hawaii on the small island of kauai and findingparts here is a big PITA . However on my local craigslist my prayers have been answered there is a 2000 sr5 5spd being parted out. Has only 106000 on the engine and trans. the truck runs great however the cronic rust has takin the body on this one and would be to much work to bondo and restore .The guy parting out said he would sell me the trans, t case and swap them in my truck (99 sr5) for only 1100 buck. Good or bad deal?
I was wondering if you all could help me put together a exact list of parts I would need from the donor truck to do a complete swap. I'm not very mechanically sound I know I need the clutch peddle and trans and t case but that's about the extent of my knowledge. The donor is being chopped Jan 15th I would like to get him the list of parts I need asap so he doesnt sell them off. I thing he already sold the wiring harness. Thanks

We are talking about an auto to manual swap here, right? If so you'll at least need the the center console, flywheel, and master/slave cyl - not sure if you need to build your own clutch line. On top of that I believe the front drive shaft and trans cross member are different from the autos. Since you're swapping from a '00 to a '99 I'm not sure if the ECU is different or not.

A know a lot of these have been done before. I'd start by searching this forum.

Yes this is a auto to manual swap. Yea I've been reading a lot on here found a couple good threads so far. I just wanted to throw this thread out there cause I'm kinda strapped for time, gotta get the parts before someone else does. Thanks that helps a lot.
