Passenger Side Lean!!! After Lift!!!

The only thing I can think of is the LBJ that hasn't been changed. Maybe changing that out will help. And finally getting an alignment may help too!

okay okay, I will get that LBJ in this week and hopefully drop it off for an alignment on saturday. you coming over to help?

I know it is. Badlands closes at 5 on Sundays, so we can make it back in time for the game, which starts at 6:30. I'm actually still debating on whether I am going or not.

Ok so i have bought a LBJ but it doesnt seem to be worn out, I still have a lean to the passenger side, Think it may be from the back LX coils the driver one is much taller than the passenger. that could be the whole problem, does anyone else agree?

Do you still have the spring packer on the LF? If so, take it out.

And yes, being taller in the LR could infact "tilt" the truck down in the RF.

I am thinking of getting some 10mm spacers from toytec and putting them in back. What does everyone else think?

Eat a little more, gain some weight, and it'll bring the driver side back down.

YEAH THAT SEEMS LOGICAL!

It is just strange that it would lean that much to one side just from the rear driver coil being taller, other people have used these coils right?!!

closing this thread due to this being fixed a long time ago! put in a 1/4'' spacer and viola fixed. ok, bye bye.

Hey guys what was the final diagnosis here? I have a dobinsons lift and just came off the trail to my passenger side down nearly an inch. Has kdss

Front drivers 23.5 (24 depending on where I’m parked)
Back drivers 25

Front passenger 23
Back passenger 24

Well being that this thread is 6 years old you probably wont get a response, but according to the last post, right above your question on "final diagnosis"...

3rd Gen 4runner's didn't come with KDSS. So I'm not sure how relevant the information in this thread will be to you.

I'd say if you're down nearly an inch you've installed the springs on the wrong side. Side 4runner gas tanks are on the side of the vehicle. The springs are going to be side specific.

Ahhh probably should have caught that, thank you! For any 5th gen folks, KDSS gets thrown off wheeling and you'll need a spacer on the from passenger to level it out
