Patience Is A Virtue!

Who was he, Ned Flanders?

Haha yeah. He was 60 something and moved out to California a few years ago. He has never sold a car in California and probably felt uncomfortable about it. I didn't want to push him, but now I have all those fines. :gun4:

No offence, but if my WIFE tried to tell me what to do with my rig, I'd tell her where to go! HA HA! She makes suggestions.....but I ultimately make the decisions when it comes to my rig. She drives an Impala....I bought it for her a couple of years ago. We had been shopping around for a while, she wanted a minivan, but I told her no way no how! I wanted a Grandprix, but we settled on the Impala with the 3.8L motor. It's a boat with a rocket engine!

That being said, you just need to learn the fine art of "Convincing" your girl to let you mod your rig! That's how I do it! I say....look...this skid plate is $300.00 at the Autobody store, but I can get it for $60.00 bucks from a guy here on the forum.....she says "cool!" I win! HA HA HA!

Yeah I know what you mean. I do all the things I want anyways, but I hear about it for a little. She likes cars to be completely stock. Her mom told her to understand that cars are my hobby and she needs to understand or leave. Sometimes mothers-in-laws are right. (not about the leaving part) I have been working on her about the running boards. She is only 5' 1" so she kind of needs them and will really need them when I lift it. I told her today that I can get rid of the running boards and use the money to buy sliders. She now wants to see a picture of the sliders, so it may be happening in the near future.

My lift I will just tell her the shock and spring will need to be replaced and voola I have a lift. But that will come this summer when I can afford some Duratracs. She doesn't care if I do mods that don't take time away from the family time. I got to work on my 4runner for a while today while the baby was taking a nap, so she is cool about everything.
