and I painted my skid plate, someone told me to paint that next so I did!

I painted it right on the truck at first, but didn't use any plastic. I just winged it...

I just don't understand the want for "limited flares". More bulky plastic. No thanks. Clean lines are where its at. Oh, and I know every one is entitled to an opinion blah blah blah...

I see where you're coming from, but for my specific situation, the plate is jacked up really bad... its a ***** to get on and off when I change my oil, so I plan to get a skid row plate but until then I might as well not have to look at the giant dents and rusty scratches in the current plate... and all it is was some scotch tape, scissors, and a big sheet of plastic lol

You could always take that dealer plate off

I like it, it reps where i work lol. I got the license plate frames too.

I would agree with Clemson and suggest tinting as your next step. That's high up on my list of summer mods. Along with painting a bunch of stuff like you've already done.

What about some driving lights or fogs or something? Maybe the Hella DE Micros?

Yeah I'd like some Hella DE's but they're not top priority and they are a little pricey to justify right now.

Tinting should probably only run about $60-80 though and I think will make a big difference.

What about some Weathertech floor liners? Or something else for the interior?

yeah I've thought about it, I'm not into ghetto stuff like that. I like things done right... plus I wanna be able to sell the airbox and a hole in it wouldn't make that worth anything... I like form with my function.

tinting sounds great, my brothers good friend does work on upscale cars like Ferrari and such and he said he'll cut me a deal. I guess I'll do both the intake+tint. haha nice thinking.

I just got my truck and it was one of the first things I did. Got the front windshield 35% and the two front windows 20%. It looks awesome! The key is doing the front windshield too, makes everything look a bit darker.

I paid $100 for the windshield and $80 for the side windows.

Yeah, I've heard of UV tint as well for the front windshield, my brothers 92 slammed pickup has it, no need for sunglasses, its awesome. I won't be tinting the windshield until I get a new one, mine has too many rock chips...

speaking of which, I think I could get a new one via insurance, my deductibles a hundred bucks so I'll give that a shot.

That's a good one. Do you think that it would look good on the dark green? Not many people have my color on here, or at least do much to them. I was the first I knew of to get LED tails on this forum with this color... but I'd only do the back, my front one matches the grille

I think it would look good. The Highlander version came with black pearl emblems and I know J.A. has a Highlander and it's Imperial Jade Mica like yours. Check out his site and see if you can find some pics of how they look.
