Glad to see a good inexpensive non DIY alternative. I’d probably go this route today if I needed it. Original DIY ones are still doing ok as far as I know.

Reviving an old thread here. The store bought shields (called aprons in the parts catalog) are thin and I've replaced them at least twice over the years. They didn't last even 3 years before breaking off, at least in my experience. In this case, only the FL apron remained. The rest had all broken at the fasteners.
I purchased a 30" roll of 1/8" neoprene and used the templates posted here to make my own. Then I bought a punch off of Amazon for $8 to create the 1/4" holes. (I was careful to align the holes on the neoprene with the ones in the wheel well to ensure a good fit.)

I bought a bunch of the push in fasteners but the body holes are only 6.5 to 7mm and I was able to use only the ones that don't have a pop out button. It still works but might be hard to remove. I'll keep an eye on those. The thicker rubber didn't present a problem with the fasteners and I could have used the old fasteners to secure it.
So I'll see how long these last.
