Pelfrey slider question

It's hard to tell from all the pics I've seen, does it stick out far enough to stand on? Can some one post a pic of person standing on it, I'd like for them to be used as a step bar also.

I've read some sliders can help keep dimbass from opening their car doors on my car. Will these stick out far enough out?

They definitely do. They've been used to get in, step up to reach to roof, and support the weight on some rocks. Great quality, saved my rockers on a few occasions.

So you can get pretty much get a good foot hold?
I was on the fence about the top plate cause I have a 8yr old, what's your thoughts on that. I think they look better without though.

If you have kids I'd recommend you get ones with full top plate.

Second this. The top plate helps a lot for that purpose. Does keep a lot more mud though.

I mean, I love my kids that's 8 & 12, so... They are growing and being taller lol lol. I wish they made removable top plate. I don't really like their top plate design.

Can someone measure how far they stick out from the body please.

Wife thinks I should get nfabs because of the steps, but I'm trying convince her pelfrey would be Judi as good.

I'm interested in this measurement as well. My wife doesn't want me to buy sliders that don't provide a decent purchase for stepping up into the truck

My nfab only sticks out a few further, may return them and get pely.

But, how high are the pelfrey from the ground up?
