Thank you. If I placed an order this week when can I expect to have the bumper? Just curious because I’m looking to sell the car in the next two years or so and I don’t want to wait until 2019-2020

Inside the Pelfreybilt, T4R Gated Rear Bumper Hinge are stops. These slow and stop the gate from over extending and damaging the body of the vehicle. At the stopping location a pin will drop and keep the gate from accidentally closing. These two together will help prevent any accidental body damage via the swing out gate. Nice to actually see the bumper in person at overland Expo.
Cant wait for some of the options Tyler mentioned. Rotopax and maybe matraxx mount for the win.
The no cut lines were spot on and craftsman ship as well as design feature were well thought out and engineered. Guess thats the reason for the 3 month wait but it is well worth it if you can see it first hand.
Tyler and Stain were super cool and took plenty of time to go over their 5th gen build and test mule for the rear bumper. WoW Just Wow Long traveled with Pelfrey bumpers. So nice....

Having seen this in person at Expo, it really is that nice. The fit and finish was on point.

For those that have ordered, did you check out the most recent email update from Satin?
I’d like to update you on how we’re doing with the production run of T4R rear bumpers. The production side of manufacturing, while a lot faster than the prototyping and fitment, does still take time as we work through the programming of the machines to insure accuracy for fitment etc.
I met with Tyler today to get an update for you and we are on target to have the bumpers and gates ready for assembly, late July. This means, as we’ve said, we need ample time to assemble them, powder coat, package, collect balances + invoice for shipping etc. We estimate to begin shipping in August. The orders will be filled in order of receipt, so please bear with us as we shift our shop focus to the assembly of these bumpers.
As I’ve done from day one, I will continue to keep you updated on the production process, but am so stoked to relay that things are looking good and for that we are SO excited!!

So as Michael said, Pelfreybilt gave me the great honor of both letting me crash with them before Trail of Missions, but lend a hand in the shop.
I know everyone's been really patient for this rear bumper, but hands down this thing is worth the wait. It's everything I wanted, and I'm absolutely picky about things. Tyler is even pickier and for the first time in the 3 years I've known him he seems legitimately happy with every detail, nothing feels like a corner cut or issue unaddressed.
The bumper is noticeably lighter than my previous bumper, and is stout, easy to use, and just absurdly strong.
We just did the camera relocate and that's as far as we could get while I'm here. It'll be done when I get back.
I truly mean it when I say it that Pelfreybilt has built one of the best bumpers out there, and everyone in the queue is in for a real treat.

Took a good hit on a rock last thursday during FJ Summit, the bumper took it like a champ. I'm missing some powdercoating now. So if you worried this bumper is weak, that's absolutely NOT the case.

Really diggin the way the production bumper turned out , , very balanced...has a lot of the little design details I've wanted when running at speed. Hopefully, I get to check one out at expo east.

Well it was 3m lead time March, a reply in May said 3m so I would say they have some "splannin" to do. The website says 12-14weeks, maybe you would do better canceling your original order and re ordering?:caked:
In all fairness there is a lot to these bumper, Pelyfreybilt has other products and in this type of small fabrication business a lot can change/go wrong but I would hope that they would give a good explanation and offer to allow you to cancel if you wanted.
Do they take full payment upfront?
