Welp...anyone want to buy my aluminum Pelfreybilt front bumper? Quality product, I love it actually. Can't stomach having it on my truck after all of this.

I feel bad for anyone who had money tied up with them. FWIW - when I ordered my bumper I waited until it was in stock. I actually spoke with Tyler on the phone and Satin via email and I thought they were great. They answered any questions that I had. It's a damn shame that it ended this way, but it's very clear how they were managing the money from customer's orders.

It's not hard to read between the lines of all of their statements.

Keep the bumper. This isn't your fault, you had no part of this. You did the right thing and you shouldn't feel any shame or guilt for owning the bumper. The Pelfrey's would like to convince everyone else that it was the customers fault which couldn't be further from the truth. It's sad and pathetic that they want to place blame on those who actually supported their business.

Hopefully a swipe. Those guys are ****ing idiots and real class acts. They posted a vid a few months back, where they were basically trashing trails and public lands, and talked shit to everyone who posted negative comments. They even messaged me threatening me with physical violence. Really classy group of choads.

IIRC, this is the third time Satin & Tyler Pelfrey have filed for bankruptcy... seems to be a pattern.

I'm copying every e-mail into a file that I ever sent/received with Pelfreybilt.
I'm literally sick to my stomach reading the complete bullsh*t that they were spewing.
I should have followed my gut and got a refund at the end of July when they told me to get back to them at the end of September and the might have some news.

Here's a quote:

August 2nd
Alec, as my email said, we are able to do one bumper a day right now working 4 10 hour days. We have 79 bumpers on order plus all our other products we’re trying to work on amidst completing 1 bumper per day. There’s no reason to be put out-I’m being truthful with you. Every single one of our customers are waiting just like you are. We’re doing all we can possibly do to get each order done on a first come first basis.

We love all our customers and appreciate everyone’s support as we have poured our hearts and souls into this product. We cannot rush the build or no one will be happy.

It will be quite awhile. I don’t have an exact time, I’m sorry.

You’re closer to the bottom with the order being placed in March, so I’d say you’re several months out, hon.

yes, the docs are on tacomaworld. tyler filed in 2001 and satin in 2009, both chapter 7, both before they were married to each other and way before pelfreybilt was started

ACH is a little tricky but yes, you do have the same 'sort' of guarantees, I will get into those later, need to do a little re-rereading of those for y'all...

I checked in with a banking relative and she said that while the backoffice processing for ACH is different from a debit card transaction, the protected dispute period is the same 60 days from the original transaction. If you are still within that window, you should be able to get the full amount refunded.

If you are beyond the 60 day period, it's really up to your individual banks about how accommodating they want / can be.
