Performance Chips?

I've looked for a long time now trying to see if I can find any performance chips for my 1999 4Runner. I have found some but once i read up on them they seen to just trick the engine etc. Has anyone found a good, quality chip for a 3rd generation 4Runner?

Chips are useless on 4Runners. Don't waste your money.

Yes, they play havoc with the computer. The Check Engine light will come on and things like that. I bought one and ended up putting it on my wife's Maxima. Don't waste your money.
