Alright all you Philly guys I need your help. I met a guy on Tacomaworld.com that makes A mess of different kinds of Satoshi grill for Tacos. I asked him if he made any for 4Runners and he said he never has because he doesn't have one to test fit and stuff. I would really appreciate someone's help that can have some spare time to stop by his place if need be for him to do measurements and see if everything fits.

can't you just do the measurement yourself and send him the info he needs?

I asked him about that and he wants one to put it in so that everything for sure works out because some of his designs aren't just a plain mesh across, he makes some that go in and out. Safety precautions I assume since he's never done a 4Runner before

I have built hundreds of grills for Tacomas and would be willing to try a custom grill for a 4Runner. I just need someone willing to allow me to use their ride for a test fit.

I'm happy to take a shot at one to see what can be done with them. I can't make any promises yet on what I can do...

I need to see how the grill mounts, what clearances I have to deal with and most importantly - how difficult the stock one will be to modify.

I've built satoshi style grills for every year and style grill for the Tacoma from 95 to 2012. Anything is possible - I just need to see what I can do.

With the 03-05 grills, you will see they are a little more thin at the bottom, so they might require some bracing. The 06-09 will probably be a slam dunk since they are a lot like the Tacoma.

I actually have a grille laying around. I replaced it with a new one because of a small crack in it. Could you possibly have some use for it?
