Photo request - 2.5" front/1" rear

Morning all, just pulled the trigger on a 6112/5160 combo with 1” Bilstein B12 coils in the rear. Debating on whether to set the fronts to 2.4” or 2”. I’m sure there will be some settlement over time, which leans me more towards the 2.4” setting (5th clip both sides, I have a 2018 with KDSS). After browsing many threads (I think I’m on PG 300 of 399 ‘Post your LIFTED pix’) I’m not seeing too many 2.5”/1” lifts. I’ll be running stock size KO2s. Can I get a few side shot photos on level ground if anyone has?

I realize you're probably looking for that specific setup if possible but you should look at both the pics from people's 5100 setups and the Eibach kit, they'll be virtually the same. There are a ton of them out there at this point. FWIW, I'd go with the 2.4 setting also but it depends on how much of the stock rake you want to end up with. Good luck.

Thanks Angelo...will do for sure. Thought I would throw a Hail Mary out to see if I could get some consolidated pics of this specific setup. Trust me I don’t mind looking at the variety of setups that others are running and will continue to do so.

Here is my Pro with Cornfed 1.5/1” spacers added with 275-70-17’s. The Pro comes about 1” higher in the front over all 4Runner models. The rear is the same. So, this is ~2.5” F/1” R. I’m at 22.5” from hub center to top of fender arch up front and 23” in the rear. Hope that helps.

I feel like 2.5 in front and 1" in the rear will give you negative rake. I would suggest at least 1.5" in the rear, ore less in the front. I have bilstien 5100 at the highest setting in the front (+2.5") and a set of daystar +1.5" spacers in the rear. It looks pretty level but sometimes the front looks too high for my taste. Think i want to upgrade to some +2" springs for the rear.

I added a 1" front spacer and still have visible rake with the rear (stock) higher. 1.5" front would be pretty close to level I would think, without being taller than the rear unless you've got it fully loaded with cargo.

I'm at 1.6" in the front with no lift in the rear.......so it would sit similar to 2.5" front and 1" rear. I'm also running 285's. I still measure 1/4" higher in the rear from center hub to bottom of fender.

Thank you all for the feedback. Seeing as the Eibach Lift kit yields a +/- 2.75”/1” lift I’m going to give the 2.4” (5th clip) setting a shot, see how it settles. If I feel I’m butt sagged after minor loads, I may consider adding air bags or a trim pack per coil spring.

Bear with me on this one as I have never tried posting with pictures...

I tried simulating a 2.4" (5th clip 6112) front and 1" rear lift today to see how it would look.

I placed a jack under the lifting point on the engine skid plate and another under the tow hitch. Measured to wheel well before and added respective heights with jacks.

These are my before lift photos with stock cv angles.

These are my after lift photos. Measurements are as follows (+/- 3mm or 1/8"):

2.4" = 61mm
1" = 25.4mm

Before
FL: 867mm
FR: 867mm
RL: 937mm
RR: 937mm
Frame variance front to rear = 20mm
Clearance to lowest point of front skids = 210mm
Clearance to lowest point in rear (gas tank, not including diff.) = 260mm

After
FL: 928mm
FR: 928mm
RL: 962mm
RR: 962mm
Frame variance front to rear = 10mm
Clearance to lowest point of front skids = 260mm
Clearance to lowest point in rear (gas tank skid, not including diff.) = 290mm

Forgive my use of metric units. I work in construction in Canada and am very comfortable with them.
