I consider myself to be an amateur photographer and I was curious if there were any other amateur or professional photgraphers who are on the board? If so what do you prefer to shoot? What kind of camera do you use? Also, if youv'e got any pictures you want to share, please show them off. Iv'e got some of my own I will post when I get home tonight.

I prefer to shoot still life, however I am trying to get more practice with random every day shots. I use a Fuji Simplepix S1.

I did some beginning photography in school. I enjoy it a lot and would like to continue but I cant afford to buy printing/proccessing equipment and we have no public labs around here. I used a Canon A1 Manual Camera with B/W film. I've got a few pictures up on my website gallery.

Those were good pictures, I really liked the Guitar ones....you say you don't have a photolab in your area? Not even a Walmart or Walgreens? That stinks...anyway, here are a few of my favorite photos.

I use Ilford Black and White film. You can only process it with certain chemicals, so you can't take it to walmart or a place like that and have them process them with color film chemicals. Plus after that I printed the pictures the "oldschool" way. Using photopaper & chemicals in a darkroom. It's a lot of fun, just expensive too :|

I took a class on photography in school, which was a lot of fun. They actually had a darkroom and you developed your own b/w film. I am an amateur photographer. My current camera is a Canon Digital Rebel 300d. My favorite thing to photograph is airplanes, but that is kind of hard to do these days wihtout getting in trouble. I also like photographing scenery of places I visit and cars. Here is one of my better airplane pictures that was not taken with my Digital Rebel:

Yeah I tried that once, then I learned that I am highly allergic to the developer chemicals, even being in the same room as them makes me break out in a crazy itchy rash...major bummer, as that is something I would really love to do on my own.

Nice pics!! Im not really into photo. but I just got my first digital camera last week, Canon SD450. Simple to use and compact which is what I wanted. My dad is a pro, he does some model shoots and lots of landscape shots. He uses a Nikon D2x and a Nikon D100.
