One of my favorites so far from last weekends Sonoma Historic Races.

Still plenty more to delete, edit, crop, etc ...

If you continue to shoot more events, you'll most likely end up taking far less photos. I know that I used to take a TON of photos, but now I feel like I can keep a fairly good running memory of the photos I already have and then get to a point where I only shoot things if I feel they're special.

My friend's custom built truck, too bad it's a pavement queen. Shot this today, not my best work, but this is 3 different shots on my crappy tripod, not the same shot edited on the computer like I do a lot of my stuff.

Like it's my job. I went to the aquarium and took 275 pictures in a matter of 30-45 minutes. I used probably 10. I get so excited and want a good handfull to work with when I get home.

I've been playing with a real camera for around a year and a half I think, maybe a bit longer. I've gotten to the point now that I don't try to shoot EVERYTHING (like I did when I first got it), but I hate to miss an opportunity as well. Events like this where they are vintage race cars is a particular weakness. A LOT of rare cars actually being driven is hard for me to pass up. Couple that with the fact that I take a lot of similar shots to make sure I have a good sample (for action shots on the track) and well you end up with 4 digit numbers to sift through for the next week or two.

The good news is that my ratio of good to crap is much better this year than last year.

haven't been in here for awhile lol.

I gotta post these. Our shop is in an old warehouse building. reminds me exactly of the all white warehouse in forza 4. Of course, the rafters are painted black and the floor is light blue.
