**Photography Talk**

BTW, I really hate photobucket. The images look so much better on my computer.

Nice shots!

Try Flickr? It's not free but it's pretty nice and I know a lot of people in this thread and other 'photographer' friends of mine use it.

edit- it's not easy to switch services midstream, but the sooner you do it the less you have to re-upload/choose through as to what you want to have on both sites vs. just linking to the old stuff from photobucket.

:iagree: ^^

photobucket sucks unless youre just using it for a few pics. def do flickr (although im not sure i like the new setup)

i went on a hike christmas day with my dog. it was 6.5 miles roundtrip with 1,500' vertical gain. not bad for a 10yr old

and the view from up top. this is 7,600' in elevation about 30miles west of downtown Denver. red rocks amphitheater is on the lower left just out of frame

second and third look combined and it's a TRIP!

just stoppin in. Bought my first SLR Saturday. Nikon D5300.

Legitimately was so confused with that set of pictures. I sat here for a good few minutes thinking how in the heck did that water swallow a brick building, yet the Golden Gate is free in clear. Trippy, indeed.

I know...it's great lol.

ugh made a mistake twice now. it's a D5200. love it. waited 5 years to finally get one.

Nice can't go wrong with Nikon. i got into this mess because of Hepar, he brought me to the dark side, now all instagram pics look like poop to me.

Playing around with a Sony A7. First three are the kit lens and the rest are a CZ 35mm f2.8.

Nice shots Marc. Did you pick up that Sony? Or just a loner?

I picked up a new toy over the holidays. Got a Tokina 16-28mm F/2.8 for all those extra wide landscapes. Pretty excited to play with it more and get it in regular rotation. My initial impressions have me astonished at the sharpness on this thing. Build quality is superb and the only quams I have is that the zoom ring is reverse of my Canon lenses and that the zoom ring is very stiff. However it's sharpner and about half the price of the Canon 16-35mm F/2.8 IS so I think I can live with it!

A couple test shots:

They "say" its suppose to come down as far as southern Colorado, but we are suppose to have cloudy skies and the best viewing time will be between 11-3….I'm with you on taking long exposure shots, thats unknown territory.

Someday I will make it way up there to the best viewing places to see it!!!!
