PHX 4x4 Shops?

Hey guys,

Need some help from the PHX people. I'm looking for some quotes and recommendations on a place to install my lift and UCA's. Me and a buddy were planning on installing ourselves but time crept up on me and its just too dang hot to be in a garage installing that this time of year.

I have a price from RPM Fab as it's my buddies friend. But I'm looking to compare and see some other options out there.

Thanks guys!

both do 4runners all day every day. SDHQ doesn't do in house alignments though, at least they didn't last time i was there getting tires.

SDHQ wont install customer supplied parts, even though it's all brand new in the box... weak.

However, I did just get off the phone with TAP and he had a great price with alignment included. I'll most likely be going through them. Thanks much for the recommendation!

I searched and searched in my area of eastern WA and found this over and over again. Had to end up going to Spokane which isn't too bad - couple hours away.

Yeah, I can understand it to an extent. They want to make sure all the right stuff is there for the job. I can only imagine the pieced together stuff that some people might try to bring in. Plus, they'd much rather sell you the products as well, even though the margin is in the service.

How did you like TAPs work? I have a TE kdss so that is only thing I’m skeptical about but will give those guys a call. I’m sure they’ve done a few lifts if Toyota dealerships refer them.

A little late to this party, but BDM Customs in Tempe did my lift and UCA's.

I believe they have another shop in Peoria too.

Nice to see some good options for the greater PHX area. FWIW Total Auto Pros did a good job installing 5100s w/alignment. Lots of jeeps in the parking lot, but they see quite a few 4runners. Gregg was good to work with.

Juan at Total Auto Pros was great to work with and they did great work. They do most of the work for all the valley dealerships. So when someone wants to add a bunch of stuff to their sled they have the dealership “do” it and add it into their financing. You’ll save money by going directly to TAP. Good luck.
