Physical Key Not Working on Driver Side Lock

A few months back I had a door actuator issue which I had to physically use the key to lock and unlock the door manually. I changed the door actuator was some of you had done on other forums and I went along happy to use my keyless entry. Last night I dropped my keys into the puddle and my keyless entry remote does not work. I went on to try and use my physical key and I it no longer works as well. I went on to use my spare remote and it opens the doors fine. And if I use the physical key on the trunk key hole it works, just not on the drivers side.

We did check if the key worked properly at the time of actuator replacement and I regularly dont use key entry to notice exactly when it stopped working. Now before I open the door again and tinker around I wanted to find out if anyone had similar issue and direct me to the solution without me taking everything out and redoing it and it still fail on me.

Also I noticed all this while I was in the parking lot of a CVS and someone stole my driver side bumper reflector, which I need to replace or keep the gaping hole.

Happy Holidays!

Someone stole your reflector? That's crappy. Just a thought but is the key you are using the original key? I got 2 keys with my 4 runner and one will unlock the door and the other will not. Yet both will start the truck. Kind of weird but if you have a spare key check it out. Good luck.
