PIAA 510 Ion Crystal Fog Vs. Xtreme White SMR Fog

The simple questions is: Which do you recommend, the PIAA 510 Ion Crystal Fog or the PIAA 510 Xtreme White SMR Fog?

Now for the longer explanation: I recently ordered a Shrockworks for my 3rd gen and I want to put a pair of fog lights in the lower mounting location. My birthday is coming up so I am going to ask for a pair of fog lights and I am considering the PIAA 510 because they fit perfectly into the mounting location and they would match my 520s that I have on my roof rack. The bottom line is that I am looking for a versitle fog light that I can use both in incliment weather and for daily driving when I just need a little extra light.

So which pair are you guys are running or what you would recommend. I know that the crystal ions have a yellow tint, but is there a big difference in light output between the two? Does one pair have the advantage in various weather conditions (rain, snow, fog, etc.)?

A true foglight should be yellow, while a driving light is clear/white. I would run the yellow fog-lights, that way you have better visibility in fog. If you need more light, just crank up those ones your roof rack!

I will say my Crystal ION's have saved me a couple times, in fog especially, and almost going off a couple cliffs in the middle of the night in the middle of nowhere going up a mountain. I like being able to have the white/blueish of the HID's but when I can't see too well, the fogs solve my problems no matter what.
