Pic Request - 2" BL and Sliders

Hey everyone,
like the title says, pic request with 2" BL and sliders if you got um. What I'm concerned about is that with the 2" BL, it wont be able to "hug" the body. A lot of the sliders i'm questioning if I'll be able to weld it up high enough on the frame to make it hug the body without an ugly gap.

I read that a guy (i'm pretty sure it was BAMF slider) welded his plate which was off the frame by 3/4" since he had to raise it up and weld it closer to the body, and that was with just a 1" BL i believe.

So if you got um, lets see it!

I don't have a BL, but how much of a gap would you consider ugly? They will flex when under load, so you'll want at least a little gap.

I dont think itll look bad at all. As said, leave some gap so they can flex. But honestly i am running a 2" BL and looking forward to getting sliders because itll look a lot better than just seeing the frame hanging down.

Thanks for the tip. I will leave some gap, but not much.

The ugly gap I'm referring to would be how some stock trucks come with nerf bars, that's a huge gap!

If you got a pic, throw it up! What sliders you planning on going with? CBI looks good but idk about shipping to Hawaii would be for me lol

nice rig! where could i obtain those? i googled rock toy industries...yet nothing...

I may go with 4xinnovators kit, looks pretty solid and at a nice price

On a related note, I came in to this post looking for an answer to about the same question, I have a 1.5" body lift and wasn't sure how close everyone was getting to the body.

Okay well I'm getting raped on shipping from everywhere. Best bet right now is that PlanB Fab is a Hawaii dealer for TG.

HOWEVER, the new problem is that TG posts their sliders at 58" in length, and thats not gonna cover the runner correctly.... Is it possible to order their 67" kit (it specifies it for a toyota x-cab) yet, still fit the 4runner? I wouldnt see why there would be any issues....

Opinions?

Here's my BAMF sliders with a 1.5" body lift. Got about a finger width between the slider and the body.

I have Stubbs sliders and a 1" BL - this puts the mount plates high on the frame and I retained a 3/8" gap between the body and legs.
