Picked Up a 4Runner...Let the Modding Begin

First and foremost, I want to thank this community for being here and providing me with a ton of helpful information. It is a white 2018 TRD Off Road Premium with 29K miles. I put a couple pics below.

For the modding, I am going to take my time and put together a good package that will make it more capable on the trails but still be nice on the road. Weight will be a big deal for me so I'm not going to get crazy here.

To start, I was thinking about the RCI bottom armor package (aluminum option for weight savings) as well as their sliders. Can anyone tell me if the metal finish option on the armor package is coated or is it just bare metal? I don't care about the cost, more worried about rust but I do like the metal look over black but it's not a big deal.

You can order their aluminum skids raw or coated.

I would go raw on anything you get, especially with aluminum. Powdercoat always eventually chips off of everything no matter how "good" it is. If you are going to coat at all, prep really well, use primer, and spray paint it. If it scratches, chips, etc it is an easy fix.
