Picked up my 'runner...WOOOHOO!

The last week was a blur of activity;

Sold my truck (via Internet, then phone call) 26 July
Had truck serviced (needed it after 11,800 miles) 28 July
Buyer picked up truck 31 July
Flew to Bozeman, MT to pick up truck 01 Aug
Took weekend to drive home, via Yellowstone & Grand Teton NP's (as a freelance Nature/Landscape photographer, that was a no brainer)

The best of the images from Yellowstone & Grand Teton NP's will be uploaded to my web-gallery (high resolution fine-art photography) sometime this coming week.

Fuel mileage so far:
1st fillup (Jackson, WY after dinner on 02 August): 23.83 mpg
2nd fillup (Laramie, WY after driving to mid-way between Rock Springs & Rawlins after dinner, then car-camping on an offramp): 23.2 mpg (was up close to 26.5 before I hit I-80 where the speed limit is 80mph)
Top-Off (Home in Metro Denver): 25.98 mpg

The MPG is actual calculated from fill-up's. I learned from my 2008 F-350 that what the "Lie-o-meter" says is usually not correct.

I'm fairly happy with what Lucille (my 4R TEP) displays; it seems to be close to calculated.

I love photo's folks post while out in their 4Runners, it helps motivate me to take my truck out to play and I get to see cool places I might want to go to.
