Picked up new 2016 this week..

Pulled the trigger on a SR5 with 4WD, premium entune, homelink, tube rails and a couple of other interior items. I had a 3rd gen for 14 years so this is like coming home. Already added the bugflector and waxed with Meguiars Ultimate. A couple of thoughts vs my 2001. This thing is bigger but a lot harder to wash and wax. I had no trouble reaching the center of the windshield or center of the roof on the 2001. Had to really stretch on the 2016. Also a lot more electronics to learn which will be interesting.

My previous vehicle was a 15-year-old Isuzu Trooper, so when I got my 2016 4Runner there was a bit of "future shock" trying to absorb all the modern electronics and fancy features. But the learning curve wasn't steep.
