Pics of Avid offroad light bar on my 08 T4R

I didn't find too many pics of the Avid lightbar (Tacoma style) on the 4th gen T4Rs when I was researching, so thought I would share this for those that might be considering in the future.

$460 shipped including powder coating. 5-6 weeks for delivery. Avid guys are easy to work with. Installs without any extra hardware - uses the front studs. Simple install on paper, but you need small hands and a lot of patience to get those studs off and then retorqued. Taking the bumper off would make it a breeze of course, but I didn't do that.

I like it because it's different. it's one of those things when you want to run armor/body cladding, but aren't ready or don't want to run a full Front Body armor which replaces the oem Front Bumper.. Thanks for proving more than one picture/different angles too!! :wave:

I don't believe so the front clip is different on the runners

really like your bumper guard. Go to avid Toyota website and they only list is available for the Tacoma. Tried looking for a phone number or contact info for them but nothing listed on their site. Do you happen to have contact info or how did you place order?

[MENTION=333948]eldonoso[/MENTION] this is an old thread from 2013, and the OP hasn’t been on here since 2019, so I doubt you’re gonna get a reply from him.

I’ve never heard of Avid, but I suggest maybe try contacting them through social media if they have any? Also based on OP’s comments, it could be a possibility that he used the one made for the Tacoma and it mounted up just fine given their similarity’s between the 4Runner/Tacoma. If anything the lines of the guard might not be the best “fit” since it’s made to fit the Tacoma bumper, but as we see in the pics it fits on the 4Runner decent enough.
