After I installed the Demello, my wife asked me, "Are the 4Runner guts supposed to be showing?"

I plan to paint the exposed area of the fluid resovoir black to help make it less noticeable. Despite the exposed under pieces, I receive a lot of compliments. The clearance the Demello provides has served me well when rockcrawling.

Another 4th gen guy I off-road with has the ARB front bumper. Looks nice, but it is huge...makes the truck longer.

Yeah...one of my buddies has the Demello on his Taco and it looks nice. Here are our rigs together...

not to hijack even though this is a few months old..

but i just bought a new Demello bumper and in trying to install it the fitment seems all off. think you could help a brother out and get a few close ups of the actual mounting points? like the 3 bolts in a row on the front end of the frame..? it seems the newest iteration of the bumper only has two ovals instead of 3 holes to attach to the frame indicating you have to cut off the center one. i was hoping that wasnt the case but maybe im wrong.. thanks!!

Anyone get the new relentless fabrication aluminum bumper yet? Would love more pics of it?

I like the Demello bumper I like that the hoops are low and aggressive looking for the headlights as well. But the aluminum option that Relentless offers really has me thinking since this would keep the front from sagging and make rust a non issue.

Would love to see pics when someone gets one installed. Especially compared to the Demello

I recently installed my Demello bumper and it had the two oval holes in the mount. Only way I could see was to cut off the middle bolt. I also had to remove the bolts from the mounting tabs for the power steering line that runs across the front to clear the new supports that he added. I also assumed that the L shaped brackets were for use with a body lift. I don't like that it doesn't use the bolt holes on the side of the frame like the previous model did though. All that is holding mine on is 4 bolts. It solid but I don't have a winch in there yet to stress it. No instructions at all made it pretty much a trial and error guessing game.

Relentless just sent me this today. It is still the old design but it is very close to how the 06+ bumpers will look. I am just thinking the headlight guards are to tall/round/big on the ends?
