Pics of Loadwarrior vs Megawarrior

So after a lot of reading and searching. I think that the Yakima racks are the best bang for the buck for my 06. But I'm not sure which size I want...

Can any of you post pics of a 4th gen with the Loadwarrior and/or the Megawarrior?

Well... after calling around to stores within a 2 hour drive, nobody has the loadwarrior. Hmmmm, maybe I will go with the 4th Gen specific bajarack... If I'm going to pay freight, might as well get what I really want.

Yakima Loadwarrior

I order mine from here a couple months ago. They were on sale (discounted $50) so I got lucky but I love my loadwarrior and it's great for the price! Know multiple guys who have it too and no complaints!

I have a megawarrior with 2 red rockymounts pitchfork bike mounts:

I think the loadwarrior looked a little too thin on 4th gens.

Hey Matt, how do you have those lights wired? Did you have to drill into the roof by chance? I was thinking about mounting reverse lights up there..

I have the wiring ran to the cargo area then to the lights through the rear passenger side roof rack mounting foot. I drilled a hole through the mount that is covered by the oem rack foot cover, after running the wire I filled the hole with sealant to keep water out of the cab. I also had to make a small notch in the foot cover so the wire get through one of the openings in it. You can't see the hole that actually goes into the cab but if you're really looking (and standing on the rear tire or rear bumper) you can see the notch on the inside of the foot.

You can see the wires right now because I just put the new sport rack on and haven't gotten larger wire loom to cover the quick connects I put in. It looks better without the quick connects and only the smaller loom but I think keeping the disconnects in there is a good idea.

If you search on here, there are also ways to do it without drilling, but the wiring will be visible in some areas.

Hey Matt looks GREAT man! I have the Loadwarrior and I LOVE it but I think I am going to buy the extension so I can haul more tailgating stuff up top and have more room in the back. Ya know you have to have pack the grill, chairs, tv, satellite and tent.

I'd like to get the extension for mine but I have the sunroof, I'm also not sure how much the factory crossbars can support. Haha I know what ya meean but I usually find friends who have all that stuff so that all I have to bring is a cooler and my game face.

Yup they make an 18" and 22" extension for the megawarrior

EDIT: I misread, it adds 18" to the loadwarrior and 22" to the megawarrior.. Don't know how that works, maybe its a typo but thats what it says on the yakima website

I have a 4th generation and the load warrior. If I had to do it again, I would've gotten the megawarrior. The load is too thin IMO.

is this with yakima bars? I could not get my mega warrior with extension to fit with factory cross bars. I can get it mounted however it will not mount near the front of the basket.

Also, do you use a cargo net? I am trying to find one that fits this basket with extension but all that i find on amazon have crappy reviews.
