i like those mod you did .i have a 2005 ltd 4runner and i what to put 20" on to what did you do with the low tire pressure light so it does not go on.were did u get those rims & tires.

I don't believe that the 2003's came with a tire pressure monitor. This must be a new option for '05. I would post a thread and see if anyone else has upgraded the rims on their '05 or call the dealer. I am assuming it is just a light that comes on, so if you can live with the light on get the rims. Perhaps the guage can be re-calibrated for different tires?

I have a buddy that owns a car dealership in Victoria so I ordered them through him from the TSW distributor directly. I got them at his dealer cost. Your best bet is to go to your local shop(s) and find the best deal.

How much more horse power does that K&N intake filter give you? I am thinking about putting one on my 4runner. I heard you get about 6-8 HP with one.

Nice Runner!

I am considering adding HIDs as well. Your upgrade looks like you bought one of the many kits available. What brand is yours and what are your thoughts. How does it compare, in your opinion, with the Projector HIDs that come stock on most luxury vehicles?

I'm not sure about the HP gain numbers wise. I’ve heard if you do the Exhaust and the Intake and you get give or take 10% of the factory HP. I did the Intake and Exhaust and the same time so I noticed a night and day difference. Way more responsive and sounds horny. My buddy has a Tundra with the 8 and he did the Intake, he said he noticed a difference. He just got the Exhaust after hearing it on my Runner. If you’re considering it JUST DO IT!

The HID's are made by a company named BrightStar (www.brightstar.com.tw). I met a guy locally that imports them from Taiwan and gives a one year warranty. I think they’re as good as factory Xenon’s. I had a 5 series with Xenon’s and I think these ones are better. My buddy owns a luxury car dealership and he introduced me to the guy that sells the kits because he was happy with the product. He also sells them to other shops in town. The only problem for you guys down in the US is I think they have banned after-market HID’s. With a 4th gen Runner I’m sure you could get away with them looking as if they were factory.
