Wow, didn't realize they released the TE37X style in 17s. I'm jealous. Very nice!

They first came out last summer I think.

I did.

I used a bronze chrome base, with some added gold flake to brighten it.. and then a satin clear on top.

I don't know how this compares to the real volks. Pics on the internet compare favorably, but the combination of the gold metallic and the clear I used makes them change a LOT in different lights.

And they were powdered initially as well.. properly. They primed and everything, was quality work... and difficult to strip.

They look amazing...let me know how much you want for them. :bounce:

Thank you. Here’s the lift:

Front: Bilstein 5100s set to 0 with Wheeler’s Offroad (Eibach) T1 springs. Good for 2.5”. JBA UCA’s as well.

Rear: Bilstein 5100s with Wheeler’s Offroad (Eibach) T12 springs. Also good for 2.5”.

I wanted to maintain the factory rake.

I do have a BMC. Tires rub on the front plastic splash guard at full turn going in reverse. Just need to heat the plastic up a bit and reform it.

This post really got me curious about them TE37's.

I'm about to install my Kings suspension lift at the end of this month on my 16'TRD Pro.

After reading this post now debating if i should use my stock trd rims and just buy some BFG ko2's 285/70/17 call it a done deal or get some TE37.


Would BFG 285/65/18 tires fit the TE37 18" rims?

i'm new to the suspension lift, tires, and wheel game. Anything from you pro's (non trolls) will help me alot!

Depends on how big of a tire you want to go. If you're running 285/65, you'll have to do a body mount chop, cut some of your front bumper, the fender mod and cut or remove your mud flap.

I want to run 285/65 but heard the Ridge Grapplers are bulkier and may need a BMC with that size. Thanks for confirming. I've heard other brands in the same size don't require the BMC.

What's your lift specs if you don't mind? TIA.

Originally I ran Duratrac with the same specs and definitely required a BMC. The Ridge Grapplers had less rub at full crank.

I'm on a 3" lift from Toytec.
