It makes the most sense so far. It doesn't follow the Highlander or RAV4. The rear end looks like a 4Runner. The front end a Sequoia. The headlights are kind of Highlander though. To me the best guess yet of the 4Runner. Boy the article really slammed it though.

inlight of the fact the joke is over, u got to admit is was the right
april fool day joke to play at the right time.

anyway to be honest (not a april fools day joke) i work for
the mighty toyota and im going to be at the autoshow next thursday (i know it start friday da 10) but i have dealer pass
anyway da runner will be stationed downstairs but for some reason theres no interst, none no scheduled presentation either
its top secret or no one gives a shit
i dont understand

Yeah, the fact that spy photos have not surfaced is perplexing. I'm a recovering Jeepaholic and when I had my 2nd gen GC, the 3rd gen spy photos were all over the Internet LONG before they took it to auto shows.

Maybe they built the new 4R at the infamous Lockheed "Skunk Works" facility in CA so no one could see it in production. :
