Pics Of The 5th Gen

Toyota is pretty good at keeping things under wraps. I remember the 4th gen. coming out. Someone finally got pictures of it in October of 2002 and posted them on the edmunds 4Runner forum.

Sorry for the harsh words earlier. Nice timely joke even if it was at the expense of us anxious 4runner nuts. Man, I'll just be happy that they are releasing a 5th gen next week - it is next week for sure, right? There is no chance that Toyota won't be releasing the 2010 4runner at the NY auto show, right?

All of these jokes/speculation has now confused me...someone please confirm.

I think we all might have given you more credit for the joke if some actual effort was put forth.........you could have done so much more, instead you chose " i have pics of the new 4runner" "no i dont, april fools".

Love the pic Peter........whenever I need something from target or the grocery store my girlfriend always wants to come with, turns a simple trip into an hour excursion.

Because it's useless. The title says "pics of the 5th gen" It's already 4 pages long and has no useful information at all. So when the 5th gen does come out and people want to see it they are going to be wasting their time in this stupid thread! lol

Although there are hundreds of threads in other sections there arent that many in this section because it hasn't even came out yet! So this thread along with the others of random speculations about the new 4runner should be deleted. IMO

But seriously are you getting pics?
 
It is a long tradition on this forum to have an April Fool's thread. And there are always some members who believe it.

The other April first threads over the past seven years have been much more detailed, but this was the perfect topic for this year.

If you haven't been a member for long, then look back at April first threads over the past years.
One that comes to mind is when Toyota was discountinuing the 4Runner!

so i let you know what i see
i get asked the same question over and over again
WHEN IS THE NEW TOYOTA SO AND SO COMING OUT
i used to get upset now i laugh
i mostly get asked about the new supra
